What if u use it on a Morty or player

While battling a morty i already have there is a morty moanipulater chip by his hp what does this mean when u have the evalued version its blue outline anyone know what this is or what it means?

The blue outline indicates that you had caught the Morty at one time, though presently there is not one in your storage or active party.

The chip by their name is because you already have that same Morty. The blue one is, I believe, for the reason you mentioned.

Just for safety, I tend to only use them on 15 HP or lower. It's not guaranteed but it's better than trying to do 20 and below.
