error message - player level too low

every battle, every time. regardless if its pvp or NPC. "Your xxx Morty has disobeyed you, your player level is too low" then my turn is over with no attack and the opponent then attacks successfully.

the NPCs are same level and the pvp is usually me being a higher level than the opponent.

what gives?

nevermind, I just read a post discussing this. an overly complicated way of keeping the fight fair (which is either lazy devs or a game that is no longer getting any love from the company).

how about just preventing a fight with a 'opponent level too low' message. then at least we can run around trying to find someone who isn't too low so we can try to level our Rick up to whatever arbitrary level the devs have established. pain in the ass to get into a fight to find yourself as an observer only (and a stupid way to run a game)
