Loading Previous save Data from cloud location

Hello team,
I am having a lot of trouble getting my saved game back after the new update. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but it forced me to start a new game each time, instead of loading all my old mortys and progress I've made on my account, and will not give me the option to log into my googleplay or googleplaygames account. Please help as I have spent a ton of money getting my perfect Morty team together.

this is why all of us keep a copy of our multiplayer.dat
there is some instructions in discord #help channel that solved the issue ur having before, might be worth a try
