Mortys Disobeying

So I was in a battle and my The One True Morty leveled up twice during the battle. I was level 34 and he hit level 69. The next move I tried to attack and it said my Morty disobeyed me because my trainer level was too low. Does anyone know the max level Morty you can use with each level?

I'm level 38 and highest I can fight is 69

Yes. your Morty's level cannot be more than 2x your Rick's level. if your Rick is 34, your Mortys will disobey if the're higher than 68. (34 x 2 = 68).

Win some triner battles and get your Rick levels higher and your TOTM will be compliant again.

Easy solution

Put that in the daycare storage
Get some regular level mortys (In your level)
Then try to beat someone (friend I guess)

This shouldn't be a problem unless you are only using one 1-2 mortys in every battle
