When the game first came out I had defeated council/mysterious Rick, caught 120 mortis and most of my party was in the high 70s. I bought a new phone and it reverted to a far earlier save state. I might start a new game since the one I had was oddly bereft of wild shirt mortys

I am about to upgrade my android phone. I'm not sure if it will be another Samsung Galaxy or the Pixel 2. When I upgrade how do I recover my game data? Since this is an android phone, i was told the game data is auto saved. Which is why I cannot use the log in. Please help!

If we can kill our enemies, but we can't jack them off how are we better than them?

That’s odd, if your using an android phone, you’ll just have to login to your play store, and all data will be there. I’ve changed phones 4 times, and all was saved onto my cloud. Contact the support team, they’re really helpful

Well then get your shit together, get it all together and put it in a back pack, all your shit, so it's together. And if you gotta take it some where, take it somewhere, you know...

It's a bit hit and miss when it comes to automatically syncing.
I've found that the best approach is to not download Pocket Mortys right away. Instead, log into the Google Play store first and get your account synced there. That part should be automatic, but, sometimes you need to use a web browser to modify your Google Play preferences and allow a new device (there will be a list of devices tied to your account).
Once you have your phone synced with the Google Play account, and you open the Play Games app, you'll find Pocket Mortys listed as linked to your account. It works best when you download the game through there, as opposed to searching for it in the Play Store and downloading that way.
The easy way is to just download an app like Helium which is designed to help you transfer data to a new phone.
