Just as mentioned at the title.
As I captured wild mortys, and experienced few failures, I got this question on my head.
So, how much exact strength? Is there a formula of it?

Red HP is a guaranteed capture.

As Tehmaxx said, when the HP bar is in the red it will be a guaranteed capture. You can technically catch a Morty without damaging it at all, although the chance to capture is significantly lower. I do not know the exact "thresholds" between capture rate %.

Meanwhile , I found out in level 10 and nearby , HP 15~16 is the safe edge (but I'm still not sure if it's not changing case by case.)
