Egg Morty didn’t Evolve

I’m playing the campaign and have leveled up my Egg Morty to level 25.

I knew it would change to One True Morty at some level, but when it didn’t, I just assumed I hadn’t reached the required level yet. When I got to level 25 and it still didn’t change, I finally risked seeing spoilers and looked up the details. So it was supposed to change at level 20?

So now what do I do?

On the one hand, I’m trying to get as many types as possible, so losing my Egg Morty is a negative. But it’s the only way to get One True Morty.

Suggestions please.

Eggs will evolve into The One True Morty if you collect enough of them to keep combining them. It takes a lot of them to do that. I noticed while combining Mortys this weekend that the system was quite slow, so make sure you do not try to exit before your eggs are combined.

I leveled up my Egg Morty again to level 26 by taking it along on adventures but it stayed the same. So I spent a Level Up Mega Seed and that did the trick. Now I have a level 27 One True Morty.
